In a drastic attempt to increase sales, Maserati is selling its 2027 Grecale Folgore EV for $22,000 less than last year’s model.
According to Car and Driver, the compact luxury SUV starts at $98,995, a significant cut from $121,290 base price for last year’s model. This is great news for fans of the model, especially since the 2027 gets has a further driving range of 274 miles, a different grille, and other options.
Grecale Fologore Cuts As Maserati Struggles
The price slashing comes amid tough times for the Stellantis brand. In February, the company said it sold only 7,900 cars in 2025 as opposed to 11,300 cars in 2024 and 26,600 in 2023.
In Road and Track’s opinion, Maserati’s real problem comes from its inability to make itself the leader in any market segment. They used to have the super-sedan market, according to the magazine, but Mercedes and BMW have become players in that space.
